Yes, I do! Although it isn’t a main service of mine, I do host family photos all year.

What is included in a photoshoot with you?

Each photoshoot includes a planning session with me, either via zoom, facetime, over coffee or by good old email. We will plan your location, and I can help direct you on outfits. Your session should represent who you are! That is why we spend some time together before you are actually in front of my camera.

Once on location, every shoot lasts about an hour but sometimes we go over. Ya can’t put a clock on magic!

Also included with every photoshoot: your digital images, with full print rights. All images come edited, in a high-resolution digital gallery. I average 35 images an hour. You will not have a surprise bill at the end of your time with me! This is an inclusive experience.

"This one is probably stupid. Haha. But I saw that you use natural light (which I love) would u still be able to shoot at night?"

I prefer natural light, and will always shoot independent sessions at golden hour, but I can also work some sweet magic with a flash and off camera lighting! I totally got the after dark party images!

Do you charge for travel?

Yes. With the wild gas prices, I have to charge for travel outside of the greater Sacramento area (50-mile radius of Sacramento). A few places have flat fees, other locations will take more planning or an overnight. But don’t worry we will discuss everything beforehand. You won’t have any surprise fees! Here are the most common travel fee’s:

Northern California $350

Southern California $750

Maui - $2500

International starting at $3000

How are your files backed up? Goddess forbid, things get erased.

I think this is a a great question to ask by the way!

I shoot redundant. Which means I have two memory cards in my camera storing the images. If the horrific moment comes when a memory card fails me, I have a second one to fall back on.

When I get home, I don’t do anything before I upload all your images. They are then stored on two hard drives. One goes in a safe.

Having a second shooter at small weddings or elopements is also a huge insurance plan. If I am struck by lightning and loose everything, my second shooter has been there all day with me, also taking beautiful photos!

I try to account for acts of the gods and goddesses!

What is your turn around time for images?

I have different turnaround times based on the type of session you book. However, every session gets a sneak peek a few days after we wrap!

Portrait, couple and maternity session turnaround is typically 3 weeks.

Weddings and elopements are 6-8 weeks.

Family sessions are 4 weeks.

I want to add floral to my shoot, how much will that cost?

Floral goes with everything! Here is a breakdown of floral costs, please know floral can be added to ANY PHOTOSHOOT!!

Bouquet: $350

Bridesmaids Bouquet: $105 each

Boutonnieres $18 each

Corsages: $40 each

Garland $35 foot

Arch Piece or floor floral: $450 - $900

Petals: $25 Bag

Head piece: $200

Can I get the RAW files?

I do not give out RAW images. RAW images are not finished. It is like going to a restaurant and getting the raw ingredients but not the finished meal. You hire a photographer for their art, and the RAW is the blank canvas, my blank canvas.

The other reason is copyright. I own the copyright to every image I take and produce. And the RAW is my proof of copyright. If you want to buy the copyright, that is different. You can purchase the RAWS. If you do that, I don't edit the images, I deliver the Raw images, then delete them from my disk. They would be yours from there on. You could edit how you wish and would not tag me in anything posted. Raw images are an additional fee.

Can I see a full price list?
