This SLO Elopement on Avila Beach was one for the books!

I have had the privilege of knowing this beautiful bride for years. So, when I got the text about hosting her elopement…on a beach…in SLO, I died of happiness! I love capturing California elopements. Not only do I think it’s a more intimate and personal way to get married, but California also provides a lot of creative flexibility for imagery. The Central Coast has some pretty epic locations to get hitched! Avalia Beach being a top 10 spot if you ask me.

We kept this day simple, but elegant. A quick ceremony, followed by dinner at The Madonna Inn. With so many beautiful flowers provided by Strelitzia (let’s all give CJ a high five for packing in an arch and flowers, then quick changing to get these two love birds married)!

Honestly, one of the reasons I love Avila Beach is the simplicity. First off, there is parking (not a guarantee at all northern California beaches). Second, the beach is easy to navigate, has a good shoreline and great views! Third, it also has a pier and dining options steps away from sand! A major perk if you and your partner want to grab a bite or drink after saying your I-Do’s. Lastly, there are also a ton of Air BnB’s walking distance from the beach. Making it the sweetest elopement spot ever. Okay, I changed my mind, Avila is a top 3 for me!

What is included with our California Elopement Package?

I am so happy you asked! CJ and I do our best to take the stress out of getting hitched. So, you can relax, show up and be in love!

From the second you book you have both of us helping you through the whole process. CJ is a really rad officiant who will guide you through the legal aspects, as well as vow writing. While you and your soon-to-be get ready to construct your vows and he is designing your unique ceremony, I will be location scouting, permit gathering, insurance obtaining (yea, its required), designing your unique ceremony site and of course, stretching my photo taking muscles so we are ready on your elopement day!
